The following index of product ingredients is provided to educate you, our customer, on the quality of All About Neem’s neem soap and neem healing products. We feel it is important to provide you helpful knowledge on the ingredients we choose and how each ingredient is beneficial to your health. We use a combination of organic and natural ingredients, essential oils, fragrance oil blends, organic neem oil, leaves and extracts in all of our products to provide you with the best neem health products around.

AGUA (Water)

Nature’s pure liquid moisturizer. Helps to hydrate skin and is a liquid medium used to help combine other ingredients for ease of application.

ALOE LEAF JUICE (Barbadensis)

Aloe Vera leaf is used in traditional medicine as a multipurpose skin treatment which contains a host of vitamins, enzymes and minerals as well as EFA’s (essential fatty acids). This gentle, yet powerful juice greatly assists to stimulate growth of skin and maintain healthy body tissues. Aloe Vera promotes your skin to retain and lock in moisture.

BLACK CUMIN SEED OIL (Nigelia sativa)

Black Cumin See Oil (also called Black Coriander Oil or Simply Black Oil) comes from Nigella Sativa plant that is native to Asia. Recent studies on this incredibly powerful seed oil show it may be helpful in combating super bugs like MRSA or H.pylori and in cancer patients. Contains a rich variety of vitamins and trace minerals used for its nutritive properties to restore health to the skin and hair. Studies have also shown that black cumin seed oil can be useful for: asthma and alergies, ezcema and psoriasis, digestion, candida, fungus, hearth health, immune health and strengthen, firm and soften skin and increase hair growth.

BORATE

Natural mineral assists to balance acne prone skin. Used in small quantities as a pH adjuster and as an anti-microbial agent.

BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL (Citrus bergamia)

Anti-bacterial, natural skin toner and detoxifier, used in acne treatments for its natural drying properties for very oily skin. Its antiseptic properties make it ideal for treating wounds, herpes, acne and oily skin conditions. We use the Bergaptene Free so that one doesn’t have to worry about photosensitizing.

CAJEPUT ESSENTIAL OIL (Melaleuca leucodendron)

Natural analgesic, anti-septic, anti-spasmodic, anti-viral, anti-fungal. Works in treating surface skin irritations, easing pain, and healing tissue damage such as bruises and burns. Makes for a great insect repellent.

CALENDULA OFFICINALIS ESSENTIAL OIL

Potent anti-oxidant, contains lutein, zeaxanthin and lycopene, aids in the reduction of harmful free radicals. Excellent for healing wounds, skin inflammation and radiation burns.

CASTOR OIL (Ricinus communis)

Anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-Inflammatory. Deep penetrating moisturizer that works to ease pain while it moisturizes and protects the skin. High in Omega 9, a fatty acid that is found to be a very effective weapon against many types of bacteria and viruses.

CINNAMON LEAF ESSENTIAL OIL (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)

Natural anti-septic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-rheumatic and detoxifying. Aids in easing skin irritations such as acne, insect bites and rashes, while it stimulates blood circulation to the skin and mouth tissues to assist healing.

CLOVE ESSENTIAL OIL (Syzygium aromaticum)

Rated the highest anti-oxidant results of any essential oil. Anti-septic, anti-microbial, anti-Inflammatory, anti-parasitic and homeostatic. Used in many tooth preparations to numb tooth pain and speed healing of gum and mouth sores.

COCONUT OIL (Cocos nucifera)

Natural anti-septic, anti-fungal, skin and hair moisturizer, acts as a moisturizing barrier to kill micro-organisms on or in the skin such as ringworm, jock itch and athlete’s foot. Easily absorbs into the hair shaft to provide moisture and protect against protein loss to preserve hair strength.

EMULSIFYING WAX

Natural plant derived suspension stabilizer. Used to bind blended ingredients to hold them in a consistent concentration for ease of application.

FLAX / LINSEED OIL or GROUND (Linumusitatissimum)

Natural anti-inflammatory used to sooth painful dry skin conditions such as Psoriasis and Eczema. High in Omega-3 protein building essential fatty acids, repairs skin cells which helps to smooth the appearance of wrinkles by moisturizing and firming skin tissue, acts as a protective barrier to keep moisture in skin tissue.

FRACTIONATED COCONUT OIL (Cocos nucifera)

Refined coconut oil is very close in substance to human skin tissue, massage therapists and aroma therapists note that it does not clog pores, making it an ideal carrier oil for troubled skin or oily skin. Fractionated Coconut Oil is perfect for moisturizing all skin types. It is light and easily absorbed into the skin, leaving it soft, smooth and moisturized.

GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL (Pelargonium Graveolens)

Natural astringent, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, styptic, deodorant and Tonic. Helps to protect, heal and tone the skin. Strengthens and revitalizes body tissues while it nourishes and re-hydrates the skin. It’s anti-bacterial properties and pleasant scent make it an excellent deodorant choice for personal hygiene.

HONEY

Contains vitamins and minerals known to increase energy and boost the immune system. Natural anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory used to treat skin irritations, reduce skin swelling and heal wounds. Works to reduce scarring and speed healing to damaged skin. Acts as a humectant, helping the skin retain moisture. Aids in restoring skin elasticity to reduce find lines and wrinkles.

JOJOBA SEED OIL (Simmondsia Chinensis)

Contains Vitamins E and B-complex; Minerals chromium, copper, iodine, silicon and zinc. Easily absorbed to moisturize and rehydrate the skin and hair. The re-hydration works to plump the skin, and is excellent for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Breaks down sebum in clogged pores. Restores moisture balance and is perfect for those with acne or very sensitive skin.

KARANJA SEED OIL (Pongammia glabra)

Anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and non-edible. Has a less pungent scent than Neem Oil. Used in Ayurvedia and Homeopathic medicine for external medical treatment, and external skin irritations. Deters biting insects as well as protects stored foods from insect damage. Works in harmony with Neem Oil to protect. sooth and heal the skin.

LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL (Lavandula angustifolia)

Anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, and antibiotic. Helps heal skin rashes and bruises. Aids in healing and reduces scaring of damaged skin. Used in perfume, aromatherapy and skin preparations for its calming effects on the skin and senses.

LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL (Cymbopogon citratus)

Natural anti-septic, anti-bacterial, helps heal wounds, sooth irritated skin, and prevent infection, also works as a natural deodorant.

LEMON PEEL ESSENTIAL OIL (Citrun medica limonum)

Natural anti-septic, astringent, tones and soothes the skin. Contains Vitamin P that stimulates the capillary bed in the skin to increase oxygenation and circulation. Works to shed dead skin cells, clean pores and reduce wrinkles and improve overall skin quality and smoothness.

MEADOWFOAM SEED ESSENTIAL OIL (Limamthes alba)

Antiseptic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It is a moisturizing, light, non greasy oil that is also known for its rejuvenating benefits for the skin.

MORINGA (Moringa olifera, moringa powder)

Antibacterial, considered a Super Food as it contains over 90 nutrients and 46 types of antioxidants. Research has proven that Moringa can be used to cure over 300 diseases.

NEEM LEAF / NEEM POWDER / NEEM EXTRACT (azadirachta indica)

Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, anti-parasitic. Used in Ayurvedia and Homeopathic medicine for internal and external medical treatment. Internal and external skin irritations. Kills micro-organisms that carry illness and internal parasites such as protozoa and worms. Boosts the immune system by creating a hostile internal/external living environment for disease carrying micro-organisms. Deters biting insects as well as protects stored foods from insect damage.

NEEM SEED OIL (azadirachta indica)

Scientific research has confirmed that neem seed oil is non-toxic to mammals and may be a very effective organic antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, dermatological and dental agent. It has been used for centuries to aid in the healing of skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, rashes, burns and acne. Is high in vitamin E, deep penetrating emollients and nourishing fatty acids. Naturally restores the skin’s natural elasticity. Reduces swelling and redness of irritated skin tissue. Neem extracts interferes with the life cycle of parasites, inhibit their ability to feed and prevents the eggs from hatching.

NEEM BARK POWDER (azadriachta indica)

Anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-septic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic, anti-feedant. Highly concentrated healing and protective properties for cleaning, healing and protecting the skin. Best used for external use.

OAT POWDER (Avena sativa)

Contains natural steroidal compounds, Vitamins B1, B2, D and E, many minerals and natural saponins. Soothes the skin, and helps relieve skin irritation from Eczema and other skin disorders and irritations.

PALM OIL (Elaesis guineensis)

Skin conditioner, acts as an occlusive forming a protective barrier to slow water loss from the skin.

PATCHOULI ESSENTIAL OIL (Pogostemon patchouli)

Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-septic. Used to naturally treat skin conditions such as weeping eczema, dermatitis, acne, chapped skin and other irritations. Speeds healing of wounds and hastens the fading of scars or marks left from acne, boils, pox and measles. Works to naturally protect your skin from illness causing micro-organisms and also repels insects.

PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL (Mentha piperita)

Anti-septic, anti-bacterial, also used in dental care to remove bacteria from teeth and mouth, eliminates bad breath, stimulates blood circulation to gums and aids healthy digestion.

PHENOXYETHANOL, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, SORBIC ACID

Preservatives in skin care products.

ROSEWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL (Aniba rosaeodora)

Aromatic, used to help maintain elasticity of the skin, supports elimination of candida bacteria from the skin. Works to dry up excessively oil skin. Reduces sebum production to lower frequency of acne break outs. Excellent acne spot treatment.

SODIUM HYDROXIDE (Lye)

A naturally occurring alkali used to make soap. Lye is used to break down solid fats and oils to separate the needed constituents used to create bars of soap.

SODIUM LACTATE

Natural super moisturizer produced from alpha hydroxy acid. Shown to increase the hydration and elasticity of the skin.

SUNFLOWER SEED OIL (Helianthus annuus)

Skin Conditioning, emollient, high in Vitamin E, contains linoleic and oleic acid nutrients to nourish the skin. Also works with other ingredients to enhance rapid skin absorption.

TAMANU OIL (Calophyllum inophyllum)

Anti-microbial, anti-viral. Used as a natural antibiotic in treatment of skin infections. Used on cuts, sores, burns, blemishes, rashes, bites and stings. Promotes new, healthy skin tissue.

TEA TREE OIL (Melaleuca altemifolia)

Anti-Bacterial, anti-viral, antiseptic, anti-fungal. Excellent to clean wounds, helps control acne, athlete’s foot, scabies, lice and dandruff. Often used combined with other ingredients to treat warts and fungal infections. Helps to clear up and calm acne prone or irritated skin.

TOCOPHERYL OIL (Vitamin E)

Antioxidant that encourages skin healing and shown to help restore wound damaged skin to reduce scarring.

VANILLA FRUIT EXTRACT (Vanilla Planifolia)

Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory. Used in perfumes, skin preparations and aromatherapy for its calming effects on the skin and senses.

VITAMIN E (Tocopheryl)

Antioxidant, naturally occurring fat-soluble vitamin that works as an excellent moisturizer to dry, flaky skin. Vitamin E’s protective and healing properties also work to protect the skin from cancer causing UV rays thereby reducing the risk of sun damage.

ZINC OXIDE

Anti-inflammatory, astringent. Works as a natural sunscreen agent as it reflects and scatters all three types of UV radiation. Zinc is a necessary trace element to produce healthy skin collagen. It feeds your skin and also works as a barrier to reduce UV exposure which helps prevent sunburn, hyper-pigmentation and premature aging of the skin. Zinc assists skin healing by reducing inflammation and has show to encourage new collagen growth.
